at least 155 hours of formal education in alcohol and other drug (AOD) coursework,
at least 2,080 hours or one year full-time clinical experience,
160 hours of supervised clinical experience (may be included within 2,080 hours of clinical experience), and
has passed the nationally-administered Addiction Counselor Exam or "ACE" examination.
